FK-Galerie Introduces 32 selected artists selected from nearly 200 photographic submissions. The open submission exhibition encouraged photographers and artists to submit photographs they deem a ‘self portrait’.

Facilitated and created by photographer & performance artist Stephanie Ballantine; the curation concept explores the heritage and ideology of the self portrait :

Ballantine reflects on self portraiture as a medium which has been used to uncover and explore oppressive norms, and poses the question of its place within a ‘selfie’ saturated environment.
