First our special guest Jesse Chan will be presenting us with a basic and in depth workshop starting with a half hour lecture and practical demo.

Chemestry and sleves will be provided by us!!!
Each participant? is to bring with them.

– A roll of b+w exposed film (no Ilford XP2 or Kodak BW 400CN )

Jesse Chan is a fine art photographer that works in and around new jersey an nee york. he currently works as an analog darkroom printer. while making his own work. he often wonders about those Husker Du New Day Rising promo ang The Wipers, Telepathic Love, records.
He got is his BFA at the school of Visual Arts and MFA from the ICP-Bard program.
The work examines nostalgia and memory , through picture sof analog objects, detritus, suburban landscapes, and portraits.

The second day part of the work shop is for color processing. Preferebly participants would already have knowledge of black and white processing and how to properly load film into the developing tank and reels. Although a short demo and practice will be available.

The workshop will go through familiarizing with all the chemestry and difference to B+W as well as the CPP2 Rotary machine and how to use it and processing participant films.

Chemestry and sleves will be provided by us!!!
Each participant? is to bring with them an exposed roll of color negative film

Zack Helwa is the founder of FotoKlub Kollektiv as well as a professional fine art printer for over ten years. He is a photography graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York and exhibits his photographic art works widely.
